Does it really float, or is it on a stand?
It genuinely floats. The base uses magnetic levitation to hold the ornament suspended with a clear gap underneath — you can pass your hand through it.
Is it hard to set up?
There is a knack to it the first time. Plug in the base on a flat, level surface, lower the ornament slowly into the centre and let go when you feel it lift. It takes a couple of tries, then it is instant.
Does it make any noise?
No motor, so no whirring. It is silent apart from a faint hum from the base in a very quiet room.
Where should I put it?
